#14: The Azzams, Home on Mt. Carmel

This episode of Palestinians Podcast features Hani Tawfiq Azzam and his son Moneer Hani Azzam, two generations of men from the same family. We are introduced to the Azzam family home in Mt. Carmel and learn about the family's perilous escape to Lebanon in 1948. Throughout, we hear family stories and share a few laughs remembering Hani's childhood and learning more about what it was like to grow up in Haifa and in Lebanon. We also learn about Hani's difficult transition as a Palestinian immigrant to the United States of America.
